This is our fabulous executive team, the student committee representing Regent’s JCR:
Hello! I’m Ella. I’m in third year and I study history! As JCR president, I represent Regent’s students within college and to the wider university, help the JCR run smoothly, and make sure that the JCR does everything that it’s meant to do for its members.
I’m Alex, a second-year Geographer and treasurer of the JCR. My main job is to ensure that the JCR accounts are managed responsibly and clearly by producing termly budgets, reimbursing those who spend money on behalf of the JCR and reporting back to the students on the state of the JCR finances after each term.
Hello! I’m Ellie and I am the JCR Vice-President! Apart from being a less important version Ella, my main role that concerns organising Freshers’ Week, and being a point of call for domestic, academic and accommodation issues, as well as organising summer activities.
Hi, I’m Holly and I’m a second year History and English student. As Social Secretary my role involves putting on weekly socials for members of the JCR, the two Bops we have per term and bigger annual events for the whole college.
I’m Ciara, a second year Ancient and Modern historian, and my most important job as secretary is putting together the annual JCR magazine. More is frequently my job is buying and supplying the biscuits, coffee and tea for ‘Brew’.
Hi! I’m Gemma and I am a third year theology student. As Welfare Information Officer I head up a team of amazing peer supporters who are trained by the University Counselling Service and I coordinate the Men’s, Women’s, Gender and Sexuality, and Visiting Students Officers.
