The Role of the JCR

The Junior Common Room (JCR) is two very important things: the undergraduate student body, and the physical common room in college where we have our JCR meetings, daily brew and are guaranteed to find someone lounging at all times of day.

If you’re an undergraduate member of college you are automatically part of the JCR, and so are protected and empowered by our constitution, can have a say in the JCR’s actions through meetings, and can help organise social events, sports teams, choirs, plays, charity work, and campaigns.

In addition to that, the JCR also represents Regent’s undergrads and their interests in College and the wider University.
